The way Jumia follows me round the web these days, you’ll think we are in some sort of romance.
I’m almost certain I’m not the only one who noticed.
You search for slippers on Google and before you say Jack, you’re seeing a million ad about all kinds of slippers on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and just everywhere you look on the web.
Jumia seem like the 21st century monitoring spirit in Nigeria. Trust me, that’s how to sell….STAYING TOP OF MIND.
What many of us do is just create and create content without driving sales conversations. We don’t ask customers to buy, we simply create content and hope that customers will ask to buy.
There are ways to write content that drive sales conversations, hoping is not one of it.
So let’s talk about a simple yet effective way of writing content that helps drive sales.
1. Find Customers Pain Point: Every potential customer who will come your way will come because they have a problem they think you can solve. Identify those problems in order of relevance.
2. Create Pain Point Inspired Content: After you must have identified the different customer concerns, creatively and consistently create content around it. This is where storytelling comes in. Tell your brand story, tell relatable stories around customer pain point.
3. Plug in Your Solution: By telling amazing stories around customer pain point, you must have wet their appetite a little bit. Don’t leave them there without plugging in your solution and asking them to buy.
This is where many business owners fall short. They know customer’s pain point, they create amazing stories and content around it and just fail to ask for a sale.
Don’t be that guy no more, ask customers to BUY.
The reason you’re not selling might just be because you’re really not selling 🤷🏾♀️…I mean, you just refuse to ask customers to buy.
