Ever heard of “you marketing”?
“You” marketing is simply a form of marketing that addresses the customer. It’s that form of marketing that advertises from the customer’s point of view. It captures the customer’s pain point and addresses it directly.
Rather than use “We marketing” which advertises from the company’s point of view, Advertising with “you” marketing creates relatedness. In other words, the customer can relate with you and the product or service.
Relatedness create for the customer a sense of belonging, it tells the customer you’re willing to help solve a problem. Remember, customers buy products ’cause of what it will do for them. They buy with a reason; their reason not anyone else’s.
Here are a few examples of “We and You” marketing.
“Our children daily meal plan cuts down 80% cooking time” – We marketing.
“You’ll cut 80% of your cooking time using this daily meal plan” or “You wouldn’t ram your head on what to cook again using this daily meal plan” – You marketing
“Our perfume oils are carefully source to give you that perfect smell and compliment your looks”- We marketing.
“Don’t beg for attention, you’ll get a thousand compliments daily with this perfume oil” – You marketing.
If you really care about more sales, create relatedness and start using “you” for your ads and captions. Trust me, it’s a win anytime of the year. Proven stats shows that “you” marketing performs better.
