SALES VERSUS MARKETING

One of the questions I’ve always wanted to ask is; “which of SALES and MARKETING is the most important skill an entrepreneur must have?”

I already have an opinion but I’ld love to ask you, which of the 2 do you consider the most important for every business owner?

Let me create a premise for you.

Sales is simply all activities that leads to exchange of goods or service for money. So when value exchange hands in terms of money, goods and service, we say that a sale has happened.

While marketing is all activities that help spark interest in your business. In other words, everything you do that helps the customer develop interest and consider your business is called marketing.

So, MARKETING is interest while SALES is action.

If this is correct, which one of the two is then most important? And can any of them exist in isolation?

Every correct answer gets a FREE soft copy of my book; BUSINESS IDEA BLUEPRINT.

Let’s go…

Peace, Love and Cold Zobo.
