HERE IS WHY JACK OF ALL TRADE NEVER MASTER ANY!

I was at a speaking engagement recently where  I shared on Leadership in Life and Business.
.
On this occasion, I talked about how leaders should be visionary people and I did reference the sight/vision of an eagle as an analogy.
.
A young man stood from the crowd to ask me a question, one of the most intelligent I’ve heard so far this year. He said; “If an eagle has so much vision power in the sky, does it still have the same when on land?” He basically was asking if the eagle could see far as much as it should if on land.
.
I had not thought about this before then but my answer was “Although the eagle has great vision, it becomes a little limited when on land, because obviously it can’t see as wide as it would in the sky. Again, there would be obvious obstructions like trees, shrubs, plants etc to it’s sight on land.
.
In other words, the eagles capacity to stay and flourish in it’s place of glory (sky) is important for it’s success and prosperity. Consequently, the eagle would be able to sight more prey and eventually make kills than it would if it stays on land.
.
So imagine an eagle trying to create a business, it sure would create something around vision or storm diving or flight and not swimming or walking. Although the eagle can swim, that’s not it’s forte.
.
In essence, it is important for you to align and flourish in your space where success is natural than try to be who you’re not.
.
Your business should be built on your core competence, your life and business should ooze certain expertise and not try to solve all and every problem.
.
Have you wondered why Jack of all trade never master any? I guess you know the answer now.
.
What expertise is your business known for?

.

Good moning

Peace, Love and Cold Zobo.
