Today I’m talking to business owners who double as content creators.
Errrm! Don’t overthink it, if you put out content in form of blog post, pictures, videos, white paper etc on your blog, website or even social media pages, you’re already some sort of a content creator. Atleast in the basic form.
So to what end is this many stress we give ourselves with posting daily, learning hashtag ropes, following Instagram insight religiously, learning SEO and literally begging algorithms to work in our favour?
It would be crazy if you go through this many troubles and fail to sell eventually.
The ultimate end of content creation and marketing is to create a consistent brand presence and SELL your products or services.
If my content wouldn’t help me do that, why bother?
Every content must do at least one of these 3 things.
You must create a consistent brand awareness with your content, inform us about who you are, what you do, why we should listen to you or even bother to buy from you. At the very least, you should be able to do this with your content.
Again, it’s not enough that you stop at awareness. Your content should help customers consider you, your product/service well enough to pay you. You should be able to spark customer interest with your content.
And lastly, your content should help customers make a buying decision.
The next time your putting out content on your page, blog or website, be sure you can clearly see your content doing at least one of these 3.
Cheers to your success.
Peace, Love and Cold Zobo.
