Customer Buy Experience not Product or Service.

You think you sell the best wig&hair in the world and that’s why you have the most customers? Or God specifically laid hands on you and gave you anointing to bake that why your cakes sell out.?
.
Maybe your meal tastes best in Nigeria and that’s why people keep ordering your dishes. Or you have an exclusive right to perfumes and that’s why people buy perfume oils from you. Joke!
.
Truth is, 80% (my stats) of people who patronize you do so because of an experience. Other than the physical product they get, there is a feeling derived from patronising you, that feeling is what they really come back for.
.
They aren’t necessarily buying your cake but they buy the experience that comes with buying your cake. Take out that experience,  your cake becomes everyday roadside cake.
.
The experience could therefore be the story behind the business, your journey from where you started to where you are, your exceptional customer service, your prompt delivery, your money-back guarantee, your cheerful frontdesk officer, your location and ambience, bad-ass service delivery, compliments they get from using your product or service etc.
.
In your interest and the interest of your business, guard this experience with all diligence for out of it cometh your customers, sales and profit. Once this experience is taken out, your business becomes ordinary just like every other business.
.
Be sure to consciously create the experience and dictate the narrative. Your skill is important,  but the experience you create is importanter.
.
You think I’m lying? Check out what someone had to say about Dolapo’ s Sharwama on Twitter last week. See picture below!

Aside your product&service, what experience do your customers come back for?
