ARE YOU OVERBEARING ON CUSTOMERS?

 

I recently started another small business and I thought to share my recent learning with you without spilling the milk. ?

I saw a need in my location and decided to take advantage of it before ‘persin go first me start am’. Really, much thought didn’t go into it and that’s because I saw a need, there was a market and it was something I could start without much capital. Again, life have thought me that perfection is a scam. It’s just procrastination in disguise.

So first day was great, sales was ?. Second day was good and third day was ok.

Did you notice the choice of words? Great, good and ok.?? Sales actually declined from day 1-3. This taught me a few things I’ll like you to know.

1. You can be overbearing on your customers; This is a business that is supposed to run all day of the week. But no, it’s overbearing on customers. So it will only run on weekends for now. They’ll ask for it on weekdays soon.

2. Take note of changes and act accordingly; So many times you’ve seen changes with your business and have refused to act accordingly. Your business will suffer for it. Take learnings, ask your customers what they want, don’t assume.

3. You wouldn’t win all the time. Take your L in peace and try again.
