I’ve been seeing a few November sales promos everywhere lately. The biggest should be Jumia’s Black Friday Sales.
This is exactly the time that launches us into the festive season. So businesses would be running promos to drive, running ads, giving incentives etc.
If you’ve not started planning to fix your business in this space, you’re late but it’s better late than never init?
As a seller, here are a few things you could do
Stack; This is great if you have a number of products that are complimentary. Even if they are not complimentary, you can still stack, you just have to be creative. Give 3 or more products and sell at a reduced price.
Free Repair or Touch up; If you offer products that are reusable or may need repair at a later time, this is great for you. Offer this to customers and you’ll be good.
Bundles and Packages; Don’t just sell products or service this season, it wouldn’t be different from what you’ve been doing from the start of the year. Customers want to know they are in a new season. Create bundles, create experience. When you want to create bundles and packages for your business this period, think Christmas hampers.
Money back guarantee; Festive season or not, this works all the time. Customers wants to know they have absolutely nothing to loose. Offer money back guarantee of select products especially the premium ones.
Free Delivery; You may not be able to give all customers free delivery but you could offer it those you buy specific volume.

For customers and consumers, I just have one advice for you. There would be many juicy deals flying around, don’t engage in impulsive buying.
